How can i contribute?
This COVID pandemic has blatantly exposed another pandemic; medical racism and discrimination among pregnant and birthing women of color. Traumatizing birthing experiences, little to no breastfeeding support, and silent postpartum struggles can be prevented with the support of a doula. Birthing women and their babies, especially those of color, need to be protected during this journey.
Jenesis got into this work to help women along their rite of passage. She has encountered many women who aren’t even familiar with the idea of a doula. The value is often recognized after being informed of the type of informational, emotional, and physical support Your Truth Doula offers. Even when women are familiar with the concept of a doula, some may decide not to have their support because they can’t afford it. No woman should be denied the beneficial support of a doula simply because she cannot afford one. Your contribution towards the M&M Scholarship or a gift registry to help fund doula services for a birthing person in need will have an everlasting impact on families for generations to come.
Let’s do this one birth at a time!
Gift Registry
Don’t waste anymore time endlessly scrolling on the baby registry! Contributing towards doula services for the parents to be in your life will be one of the best gifts they receive. How great will it feel to know you were able to help provide informational, emotional, and physical support during this exciting new phase in their lives. You can rest assured that your contribution to Your Truth Doula services will have a lifetime effect on their parenting journey.

M&M Scholarship
Your donation towards the M&M Scholarship will ensure that a birthing woman is provided adequate support in preparation for birth and life as a new mommy. This reward will be given twice a year to applicants who qualify. The M&M scholarship was created in the memory of a baby girl who was born into glory and will forever be in our hearts. She and her beautiful mother are entities that fuel my motivation as an advocate for birthing women.
